2013 More Than Just Weight Completion

Congratulations to everyone for the diligent focus over the past 6 weeks! I bet there were times you wondered if the 6 weeks would ever be over. Now that you are living the results, I trust that you are very happy that you stuck it out.

As the rest of the completion assessments come in, I will put the average weight loss, inches lost and symptom changes for you soon.

Once again, congratulations on your success!

  2. Glen, It was me that asked about the Green Coffee bean extract with Svetol. (I hit send too quickly on the webinar!!) I had gotten a few bottles before the plan. Some green coffee bean extract does not have the Svetol, so those are not as effective. (Or so I've heard). (PS, they are decaffeinated to less than 2% caffeine). Can you please let me know if this causes the same type of issues as coffee or is it OK to use? (Supposed to support fat metabolism and glucose metabolism).

    1. The challenge is actually the protein more so than the caffeine, so this could still be an issue. This would be on the low risk list though.

  3. I wasn't able to get on the live webinar today, but listened to the replay. I was just now reading about taking Glutathione in your article about Inflammation, Liver and Cancer and realized that I somehow missed you telling us about taking the Glutathione that came in our kit. I assume we take it now? Dosage?

  4. Glen,
Would love your thoughts on Truvia (natural sweetener from stevia leaf)---good or bad??

    1. Even healthy sweeteners such as this should still be used sparingly. Due to the fact that the body is looking for high nutritional uptake with a sweet flavor, this can lead to an increase in cravings.

  5. Sorry one other thing...I missed the info on the cross reactive testing. Who administers that test and what is the cost on that?
    Thanks,

    1. This is done through a company called Cyrex Labs. You would get the kit and requisition form from me or your local doctor and a contracted Cyrex lab in your area will do the blood draw.

  6. Hi Glen!
Should I take fish oil? If so, how much?
What about bone health? I am in menopause. I took Silica before.
    Thanks,

    1. I generally recommend one teaspoon per day of a quality fish oil and this is a good idea for most everyone. If you can get your adrenals in balance, the affect on bone health in regard to menopause is significantly improved.

  8. Hi Glen!
When we reintroduce foods... do we eat it once and then wait 5 days or do we eat it freely for 5 days?
    Thanks

    1. Eat a small amount of the newly introduced food each day for the five day period.

This past weekend my diarrhea had stopped. Thank goodness almost 3 weeks. Now i have just soft BM which is good. I am taking the probiotic 1x daily and have returned to taking the clearvite and hepasynergy 1x daily is that right? I feel great and am reintroducing some food selections. Thanks for your help and knowledge. Debbie

  10. Hello Everyone,

Sorry I have been missing in action. I just finished an intense week of preparation for a 3 day health expo that our clinic participated in. I will get to all of your questions today.

  12. Glen, did you ever post the results with the averages? Is it in a separate email?

    1. Hello Everyone,

The results will be coming out soon for the program. Some results were slow to come back and then I was actually on vacation. I will be addressing these this week and post the results. I can say that after a preliminary review, the results are amazing and I am proud of all of you.

  13. With a bit of time passed since the completion of the program, I hope everyone is adding new food choices back in slowly and paying attention to their personal awareness. I will be equally hopeful that nobody has added back gluten yet. Remember that this is one of the biggest challenges and should be added with great caution.

  14. Hi Glen
I got the results to my cross reactive test and my results are similar to yours. I glad that I know what I shouldn't eat. But it is bitter/ sweet. Do you have receipes that you could share to add some variety to the program we were on? Also would you have another protein powder I could use. Would balsamic dressing be safe to eat when I go out to dinner? I haven't added any foods in yet. I'm feeling a little uncertain.
    thanks

  15. Hello Brenda,

I get the bitter/sweet but I do say that feeling amazing feels better than any cross reactive food taste. Dawn and I are working on a recipe book but is not in a working stage as of yet. If you wanted to set up a 30 minute appointment with me, I can share what I do on a regular basis to address my nutritional choices.

I would have to see your cross reactive results prior to making a recommendation on a protein powder though.

Yes, balsamic vinegar would be safe.
